NUT CRUSTED PINEAPPLE BREAD 
1/2 c. butter softened
3/4 c. sugar
1 egg
1 tsp. grated orange peel
2 1/2 c. flour
1/3 c. dairy sour cream
2 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1 (8 1/2 oz.) can Dole crushed pineapple in syrup
4 tbsp. sliced almonds

Cream together butter and sugar until light and fluffy. Beat in egg and orange peel.

Combine flour, baking powder, salt and baking soda. Add alternately with undrained pineapple and sour cream, mixing by hand, just until all of the flour is moistened.

Sprinkle almonds into bottom and sides of a well greased 5x9 inch loaf pan. Pour batter into pan. Bake at 350 for 60 to 65 minutes, or until loaf tests done. Let stand in pan 10 minutes. Then turn out onto wire rack to cool. Makes 1 loaf.
