SPINACH SALAD | |
1 lb. torn fresh spinach leaves 2 hard boiled eggs 4 green onions, chopped 4 strips sliced bacon, fried crisply and crumbled in leaves 1 tbsp. flour 1 tbsp. bacon grease 1/2 tsp. salt 1/4 c. vinegar 1/3 c. sugar Cook flour, grease, salt, vinegar and sugar until thick. Partially cool and add milk until the consistency of cream. Pour over spinach, egg, onions and bacon. Toss and serve. |
