GIANT CHOCOLATE CHIP COOKIES 
1 c. butter, softened
1 c. firmly packed brown sugar
1/2 c. sugar
2 eggs
2 1/4 c. all-purpose flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. vanilla
1 1/2 c. semi-sweet chocolate morsels
3/4 c. chopped pecans

Cream butter, gradually add sugars beating until light and fluffy. Add eggs and beat until blended. Combine flour, soda and salt. Add to creamed mixture, mixing well. Stir in vanilla, chocolate morsels and pecans.

Line 12 inch pizza pan with foil. Spread cookie dough almost to edge (leave about 1 inch all the way around). Bake at 375 degrees for 14 to 16 minutes. There will be excess dough for 2 or 3 small cookies. This Big Cookie may be decorated for any occasion.
