STRAWBERRY BREAD | |
3 c. flour 1 tsp. salt 1 tsp. baking soda 1 tbsp. cinnamon 2 c. sugar 3 eggs, well beaten 1 1/4 c. salad oil 2 (10 oz.) frozen, sliced berries, thawed & drained 1 1/4 c. chopped pecans Combine flour, salt, soda, cinnamon and sugar. Make a well in center of dry ingredients. Add eggs and oil, stirring only until dry ingredients are moistened. Stir in strawberries and pecans. Spoon batter into 2 lightly greased 9 x 5 x 3 inch loaf pans. Bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour or until bread tests done. Let stand overnight before slicing. |
