SWEDISH MEATBALLS 
1 lb. hamburg
1 c. bread crumbs
1 c. milk
1 egg, beaten
2 med. onions, chopped
2 tsp. salt
1/8 tsp. pepper
1/4 tsp. nutmeg
1 c. hot water
1 tbsp. flour
2 tbsp. cold water
Some Crisco

Put first 8 ingredients into large bowl. Mix thoroughly. Heat 2 tablespoons fat in large skillet. Form meat mixture into one inch balls. Drop into skillet a few at a time and brown on all sides. Remove and keep in warm place. Add hot water to drippings and bring to a boil. Blend flour with cold water and make a paste. Stir into hot mixture and cook until thickened, stirring constantly. Return meat to skillet. Cover and simmer for 30 minutes.
