GINGER CRACKLES 
2 c. flour
1 tbsp. ginger
2 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 tsp. salt
3/4 c. Crisco
1 c. sugar
1 egg
1/4 c. Grandma's molasses
(Extra sugar for rolling)

Cream Crisco and sugar very well. Add egg and molasses to this and stir.

Sift first five ingredients together. Add gradually to other mix.

Roll into small balls; roll the balls in granulated sugar. Place on cookie sheet 1 inch apart. Bake at 350 degrees 5-10 minutes.
