TEXAS PECAN PIE 
1 1/2 c. (12 oz.) Log Cabin syrup
1 c. coarsely chopped pecans
1 unbaked pie shell
3 tbsp. butter
1/4 c. sugar
2 tbsp. flour
1/4 tsp. salt
3 eggs, well beaten
1 tsp. vanilla

Bring syrup to boil in 1 1/2 quart pan. Boil gently uncovered 8 minutes. Cool about 15 minutes. Sprinkle nuts in pie shell. Cream butter; blend in sugar, flour and salt. Add beaten eggs, syrup and vanilla Bake at 375 degrees for 40 minutes.
