SUPERB OATMEAL RAISIN COOKIES 
In large mixer bowl, combine:

1 c. softened butter
1/2 c. sugar
3/4 c. light brown sugar
1 (3 oz.) pkg. instant vanilla pudding

Beat until smooth and creamy. Beat in 2 eggs.

Combine:

1 1/4 c. flour
1 tsp. baking soda

Add to butter mixture. Then stir in:

3 1/2 c. oatmeal
1 c. raisins
1 1/2 c. chopped pecans
2 tsp. vanilla

Batter will be stiff. Drop by teaspoons onto greased cookie sheet. Bake at 375 degrees for 12 minutes. Makes 4 dozen large cookies.
