1/2 - 1 lb. very thinly sliced ham or 1 lb. pork sausage, browned & crumbled 8 slices bread, crust removed 1 (8 oz.) pkg. shredded cheddar cheese 2 c. milk 8 lg. eggs 1/2 tsp. salt (optional) 1/2 tsp. dry mustard In a 13"x9" pan, layer bread, ham or sausage and cheese. Blend together milk, eggs, salt (if desired) and mustard. Pour liquid over mixture of ham or sausage and cheese. Cover and refrigerate overnight. To bake, preheat oven to 350 degrees, uncover and bake for 45 minutes. Makes 6 to 8 servings. |
