PLAIN MOIST MUFFIN BATTER | |
2 c. flour 1 tbsp. baking powder 1/2 tsp. salt 3 tbsp. sugar 1 c. milk 1 beaten egg 3 tbsp. salad oil or 1/4 c. shortening Sift dry ingredients. Mix milk, egg and shortening. Add dry ingredients all at once. Stir until dry ingredients are moist but not smooth. Fill greased muffin pans 2/3 full. Bake at 425 degrees for 25 minutes. |
