STRAWBERRY FIG PRESERVES 
4 c. peeled & mashed figs
4 c. sugar
1 (6 oz.) box strawberry gelatin
1 box sure-jell

Place all ingredients in large saucepan. Bring to a boil over medium heat, stirring constantly. Boil rapidly for 5 minutes, stirring often. Pour quickly into jelly glasses. Cover with paraffin and seal. Yields 8 glasses.
