VENISON AND RICE CASSEROLE | |
1 sliced onion 1 sliced green pepper 2 tbsp. fat 1 1/2 lbs. ground venison 2 tsp. salt 1 tbsp. brown sugar 3 c. cooked tomatoes 1 c. rice Cook onion and pepper in melted fat until tender. Stir in meat and brown. Add salt, sugar, and tomatoes. Wash rice well. Combine all ingredients in casserole. Bake about 1 hour in 325 degree oven or until rice is well done. Serves 4 to 6. |
