WAR CAKE 
Butterless, milkless and flourless.

2 cups water
1 cup brown sugar
1 cup white sugar
1 tbsp. lard
1/2 box raisins
2 eggs
2 tsp. baking powder or baking soda
1 tsp. cinnamon
1 tsp. allspice
1/2 tsp. ginger
1/4 tsp. salt

Boil water, sugars, lard and raisins for 5 minutes and let cool. Add eggs, baking powder or baking soda, cinnamon, allspice, ginger and salt. Bake at 325°F for about 1 1/2 hours.
