FRIED BEAN WITH LAGUISA 
1 lg. can either fava, kidney, or prepared baked beans
1 lg. onion, chopped
2 cloves garlic
Fresh parsley
1 c. sliced languisa
1 tbsp. tomato paste
2 tbsp. Portuguese olive oil
1 c. water

Saute oil, onion, garlic, and parsley. Add languisa and fry until golden brown. Add beans and water. Cook down until there is a thick sauce (1 hour). Serve with salad and Portuguese bread.
