SUGAR-COATED PECANS | |
1 egg white 1 tbsp. water 1 lb. pecan halves 1 c. sugar 1 tsp. salt 1 tsp. cinnamon Preheat oven to 350°F. Beat egg white and water until fluffy. Put pecans in a bowl and stir until all the nuts are coated. Set aside. In another bowl, combine sugar, salt and cinnamon until mixed well. Pour sugar mixture over moist nuts. Spread on baking sheet (with rim) which has been generously buttered. Bake for 35-45 minutes. |
