PUMPKIN BREAD 
1 c. sugar
1/3 c. dark molasses
1/2 c. vegetable oil
2 eggs
1/2 tsp. salt
1 c. pumpkin puree
1 2/3 c. four
1/2 tsp. nutmeg
1/2 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 tsp. ground cloves
1 tbsp. grated orange rind
1 tsp. baking soda
1/4 tsp. baking powder
1/2 c. coarsely chopped walnuts
1/2 c. raisins

Beat together first 5 ingredients, mix remaining ingredients just until blended and moist. Bake in a lightly oiled 5 x 9 inch loaf pan for 1 1/2 hours at 350 degrees. Let bread cool for 1/2 hour before removing it from pan.
