BROWNIE BUNS | |
1 c. butter, melted 1 1/2 c. granulated sugar 8 oz. cream cheese 2 eggs 1 tsp. vanilla extract 1/4 tsp. salt 2 tsp. baking powder 2/3 c. cocoa 2 c. all-purpose flour 1 (12 oz.) pkg. "mini" chocolate chips 1/2 c. chopped walnuts (optional) 1 c. confectioners' sugar Beat until fluffy the butter, sugar and cream cheese. Add eggs, vanilla and salt; mix well. Blend in baking powder and cocoa. Add flour and continue mixing. When well blended, remove from mixer and fold in by hand the chocolate chips (and walnuts, if desired). Chill dough thoroughly. Roll by hand into approximately 1 1/2 inch round balls and dust with confectioners' sugar. Place on greased cookie sheet approximately 2 inches apart. Cook 13-14 minutes in preheated oven at 350 degrees. Cool on the pan for 10 minutes before removing to cooling rack. Makes 3 dozen. (Maj Rosie) Primary Care |
