PEPPER JELLY | |
4 or 5 hot peppers, cored and cut in pieces 1 c. white vinegar 5 c. sugar 4 sweet green peppers, cored and cut in pieces 1 pouch liquid pectin green food coloring Put 1/2 pepper and 1/2 vinegar in blender; process until liquified. Repeat with remaining pepper and vinegar. Combine liquified pepper and vinegar with sugar in large saucepot and boil slowly for 10 minutes. Remove from heat. Add liquid pectin and boil hard for one minute. Skim and add a few drops green food coloring. Pour into jars, leaving 1/2 inch from top. Wipe jar tops and put on lids. |
