CHINESE PEPPER STEAK 
1 1/2 lb. round steak cut in paper thin slices across the grain
1/3 c. soy sauce
1 tsp. sugar
1/2 c. salad oil
1 clove garlic
2/3 tsp. ginger
2 green peppers, sliced thin
1 lg. can Italian style tomatoes
2 tbsp. cornstarch
2 tbsp. soy sauce
Rice

Mix 1/3 cup soy sauce and sugar. Pour over meat and marinate 1/2 hour. Put salad oil, garlic and ginger in a large pot and cook for a few minutes. Remove garlic and cook meat in seasoned oil. Add green peppers, tomatoes. Mix cornstarch and 2 tablespoons soy sauce and gently stir into meat mixture. Serve over rice.
