FRENCH CHOCOLATE SILK PIE 
Cream 1 1/2 sticks butter and 1 cup & 2 tablespoons sugar. Add 1 1/2 squares melted unsweetened chocolate, 1 teaspoon vanilla and 3 beaten eggs (you add 2 eggs, then 1 more to improve consistency of filling, beat slowly with wooden spoon or mixer).

CRUST:

You may use a 10 inch prepared graham cracker crust or make the one below: 6 tbsp. melted butter 1 1/2 tbsp. sugar

Mix together and pat in 10 inch pie pan, building up sides. Bake at 350 degrees for 7-9 minutes. Cool before pouring filling into crust.

TOPPING:

1 pint whipped cream, whipped to form medium stiff peaks, 2 tablespoon sugar and sliced almonds toasted (optional). Whip cream with sugar. Spread on top of filling and decorate with almonds.
