SWISS STEAK 
2 lb. round steak, cut 1 inch thick
1/4 c. flour
2 tsp. salt (less may be used)
1/4 tsp. pepper
1/3 c. cooking oil
4 med. onions, sliced
1/2 c. celery, chopped
1 clove garlic, minced
3/4 c. chili sauce
3/4 c. water
1 med. green pepper, seeded and sliced in rings

Dredge steak in combined flour, salt and pepper. Brown in hot oil in 12 inch skillet, removing meat as it browns. Add onion. Saute until lightly browned. Return meat to skillet. Add celery, garlic, chili sauce, water and green pepper. Bring to a boil and reduce heat. Cover and simmer 1 hour or until meat is tender.
