CREAM CHEESE CAKE 
1 c. butter
1/2 c. soft butter (do not substitute)
1 (8 oz.) cream cheese, softened
3 c. sugar
6 eggs
3 c. sifted cake flour
2 tsp. vanilla

Combine first 3 ingredients and beat with mixer. Gradually add sugar, and beat until light and fluffy, about 5 minutes.

Add eggs one at a time, and beat well after each addition. Add flour to cream mixture. Pour batter into a well-greased tube pan. Bake at 325 degrees for 1 hour and 30 minutes or until cake test done. Cool in pan 10 minutes and remove from pan and cool completely.
