PUMPKIN MUFFINS 
1 tsp. baking soda
2 c. flour
2 c. yellow cornmeal
2 tbsp. baking powder
2 tsp. salt
1/3 c. honey
1/2 c. light molasses
1 c. canned or cooked pumpkin
3 eggs, well beaten
1/2 c. (1/4 lb.) melted butter
2 c. buttermilk

Sift together flour, cornmeal, soda, salt and baking powder. Beat eggs well. Add pumpkin, honey, molasses and butter. Mix thoroughly.

Add sifted dry ingredients and beat with a spoon until mixed well. Stir in butter. Fill well greased muffin pans 2/3 full and bake at 425 to 450 degrees until nicely browned, about 18 to 20 minutes.
