DUMPLINGS FOR STEWS OR SOUP 
3/4 c. flour
1 tsp. baking powder
1/3 c. milk
1/2 tsp. salt
1 egg

Mix dry ingredients. Beat egg and add to milk, then mix with all dry ingredients. Drop by spoonfuls on top of your dish while still simmering. Be sure lid is on the pot. Cook 15 minutes longer without removing the lid.
