GRANDMA WILSON'S BOILED DRESSING 
1 egg
3/4 c. sugar
1 tsp. celery seed
1/2 c. vinegar
1 c. whole milk
1 tsp. dry mustard
2 tbsp. flour

Mix sugar, mustard, celery seed and flour in saucepan - beat one egg and add whole milk. Add this to dry ingredients, bring to a boil. SLOWLY add 1/2 cup vinegar while STIRRING. Cook until thick. Cool and serve over shredded cabbage for slaw or over chopped apples, nuts, celery and raisins for WALDORF SALAD.
