QUICK FRUIT COBBLER 
1 stick butter
1 c. all purpose flour
2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 c. milk
1 c. sugar
1 lg. can peaches

Melt butter in pan, mix and stir together sugar, flour, baking powder and milk. Pour over butter, do not stir, pour 1 can peaches including juices over bread mixture. Sprinkle top with sugar. Bake at 325 degrees for 1 hour or until golden brown, by using a 12 x 9 baking pan you get a thin cobbler that browns nicely.
