OVEN BAKED CHICKEN 
1 (2 1/2-3 lb.) fryer, cut up
salt & pepper
garlic powder
1 stick butter, melted
cracker crumbs

Purchase a 2 to 3 lb. fryer cut up (or save money and cut the chicken up at home).

Dredge each piece of chicken in melted butter and roll in crushed cracker crumbs. Sprinkle lightly with garlic powder, salt and pepper, if desired.

Arrange chicken pieces on a rack in an aluminum foil lined Pyrex or Corning Ware baking dish (or a disposable aluminum foil pan).

Cover with aluminum foil and seal as much as possible around edges of dish.

Roast the chicken at 375°F until internal temperature reaches 160°F, or about 60 minutes.
