CHERRY BROWNIES 
1 pkg. chocolate fudge cake mix
1 can cherry pie filling
1 tsp. almond extract
2 eggs, beaten

FROSTING:

1 c. sugar
5 tbsp. butter
1/3 c. milk
6 oz. semi-sweet chocolate chips

Heat oven to 350 degrees. Grease 15"x10" pan or 13"x9" pan with butter and flour pan lightly. Mix cake mix, pie filling, extract and eggs together in a bowl. Pour into pan and bake 20 to 30 minutes. Put cake in refrigerator to cool while you make frosting. Put butter, sugar and milk in a saucepan, bring to boil for 1 minute. Take off heat and stir in chocolate chips until smooth. Pour frosting over cake. Chill in refrigerator for 1 hour. Cut into squares and serve.
