1 c. sugar
Butter the size of an egg
1 egg
1 c. milk
1 tsp. vanilla
2 tsp. baking powder
2 c. flour

Cream sugar and butter. Add beaten egg. Mix dry ingredients. Add milk and vanilla alternately with dry ingredients. Bake at 350 degrees.
