STIR FRIED CABBAGE 
4 slices bacon
Cabbage, sliced
1 sm. onion, thinly sliced
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 c. water

In 12 inch skillet, cook 4 slices bacon until browned. Add coarsely sliced cabbage, 1 small onion, thinly sliced and 1/2 teaspoon salt. Stir to coat cabbage evenly with bacon fat. Add 1/2 cup water and reduce heat to medium low, cover and cook 30 minutes, stirring occasionally until cabbage is very tender and lightly browned.
