SOUR CREAM APPLE PIE 
2 Tbsps. flour
1/8 tsp. salt
3/4 cup sugar
1 egg
1 cup sour cream
1/2 tsp. vanilla
2 cups chopped and peeled apples
1 (10 inch) pie shell

TOPPING:

1/3 cup sugar
1/4 cup butter
1 tsp. cinnamon
Whipped cream, optional

Preheat oven to 425 degrees. Mix flour, salt and sugar; add egg, sour cream and vanilla. Beating until smooth. Stir in apples. Bake 15 minutes. Reduce heat to 350 degrees. Bake 30 minutes longer. Remove from oven. Mix topping and sprinkle over pie and bake 10 minutes at 425 degrees. Serve with whipped cream if desired.
