BUNUELOS 
Flour tortillas
4 c. flour
1 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. baking powder
3/4 c. hot water, add more if needed
1/2 c. shortening

Mix flour, salt, and baking powder. Blend well with hand. Then add the shortening and blend with the flour mix. Add hot water a little at a time. Mix until firm. Make testales (rounds) roll out with rolling pin. Cook on hot griddle with low flame.

For the Bunuelos: Do everything that is mentioned above. The only difference is that when you roll out the testales (round) you get knife and cut it into 1/4. Then you deep fry them in a pan. After they are done let them drain a little and then put them in the mix of sugar and cinnamon.
