CARAMEL RIBBON BROWNIES 
24 caramels
1 (5 1/2 oz.) can evaporated milk
1-2 layer chocolate cake mix
1 c. chopped walnuts
6 tbsp. butter, melted
1/2 c. chocolate bits

Cook caramels and 2 tablespoons evaporated milk until melted. Combine rest of milk, cake mix, walnuts and butter. Spread half of cake mixture in 13 x 9 x 2 inch pan. Bake in 350 degree oven for 10 minutes. Sprinkle chocolate chips over hot crust. Drizzle caramel mix atop.

Drop remaining cake mixture by teaspoons over all. Bake in 350 degree oven for 20 minutes. Cut into bars while warm. Cool. Makes 36 bars.
