TOMATO PRESERVES 
2 c. tomatoes, red or green
2 c. sugar
1 lemon & rind, grated, keep juice
1 stick cinnamon

Peel tomatoes and cover with sugar. Let them stand for 12 hours. Drain juice and boil until thick. Add the tomatoes and lemon and cinnamon. Cook until thick. Seal in jars.
