SNICKER BARS 
1 (12 oz.) pkg. chocolate chips
1 tbsp. butter
1 pkg. caramels
2 tbsp. water
3 tbsp. butter
3 c. dry roasted peanuts
1 (12 oz.) pkg. semi-sweet chocolate chips
2 tbsp. butter

Melt together 1 package chocolate chips and 1 tablespoon butter. Spread in foil-lined 9x13 inch pan. Refrigerate until firm.

Melt together caramel, 2 tablespoons water and 3 tablespoons butter. Add peanuts. Pour over first layer and refrigerate, until tacky.

Melt together 1 package semi-sweet chocolate chips and 2 tablespoons butter. Spread over caramel. Refrigerate until firm. Lift bars out of pan, cut and refrigerate.
