SOUR CREAM POUND CAKE 
1/2 c. shortening
1/2 lb. butter
3 c. sugar
5 eggs
3 c. plain flour
1/2 c. milk
1/2 pt. sour cream

Cream shortening, butter, sugar. Add eggs one at a time, beating after each addition. Sift flour with baking powder; add alternately with milk and sour cream to egg mix. Stir in flavoring. Bake at 325 degrees for 1 hour 30 minutes.
