GYPSY CHOWDER 
1 ham hock
1 c. lentils
5 c. water
1 (15 oz.) can tomato sauce with tomato bits
1 c. sliced carrots
1/2 c. chopped onion
1/2 c. chopped celery (with some leaves)
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. marjoram

Combine all ingredients and simmer 2 hours. Easy!
