POTATO CASSEROLE 
1 (32 oz.) bag frozen hash browns, thawed
10 tbsp. melted butter
2 1/2 c. sour cream
1 c. chopped onions
2 1/2 c. grated Cheddar cheese (sharp)
1 can cream of chicken soup
1 tsp. salt
3/4 tsp. pepper

TOPPING:

2 1/2 c. corn flakes, oat flakes, or whatever
10 tbsp. melted butter

Place potatoes in large bowl and pour butter over them, stirring to mix. Stir together the next 6 ingredients and combine with potatoes. Spoon into a greased 9 x 13 inch pan or 3 quart casserole. Sprinkle crumbs over top and drizzle the butter over them. Bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour or 425 degrees for 35 to 40 minutes. Serves 12 to 15.
