4 LAYER DESSERT 
1 stick butter
1 c. plain flour
1/2 c. chopped nuts
1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese
1 (12 oz.) carton Cool Whip
1 c. confectioners' sugar
2 pkgs. instant chocolate pudding mix
3 c. milk

Melt 1 stick butter, add flour and chopped nuts. Press down in bottom of greased and floured 9x13 pan and bake at 350 for 15 minutes. Let cool.

Mix together 1 (8 ounce) cream cheese (let stand at room temperature), 1 cup Cool Whip and 1 cup confectioners' sugar. Spread over bottom layer.

Combine 2 packages chocolate pudding mix with 3 cups milk and pour over that layer. Chill. Spread remaining Cool Whip on top and sprinkle with chopped nuts.
