OREO COOKIE SURPRIZE 
1 lg. pkg. Oreo cookies
1/4 c. butter or 1 stick
8 oz. cream cheese
2 sm. pkg. instant pudding (pistachio is good flavor, your choice)
16 oz. Cool Whip
1 c. powdered sugar

FIRST LAYER: Crush Oreos. Reserve 1/2 cup for topping. Mix crumbs with melted butter. Spread on bottom of a 9x13 inch ungreased pan.

SECOND LAYER: Beat cream cheese with fork until smooth. Can also use mixer. Add powdered sugar and mix until smooth. Stir in 1 cup Cool Whip. Blend well. Add this to cookie layer.

THIRD LAYER: Mix pudding to package directions, using 3 cups of milk. Add this to cream cheese layer.

Top with remaining Cool Whip and sprinkle with reserved cookie mix. Refrigerate 1 hour, cut into squares. Makes about 20 squares.
