DATE BALLS 
1 c. dates, chopped
1 c. sugar
1/2 c. butter
1 egg
1/4 tsp. salt
2 c. Rice Krispies
1/2 tsp. vanilla
1/2 c. nuts
Coconut

Cook first five ingredients until thick. Cool slightly. Add vanilla and Rice Krispies and nuts (optional). Form into balls; roll in coconut. Store or eat!
