REAL GOOD JELL-O SALAD 
2 (3 oz.) pkgs. Jell-O (any flavor)
2 bananas
1 (20 oz.) can crushed pineapple
1 1/2 c. miniature marshmallows
1 egg
2 tbsp. butter
1/2 c. sugar
2 tbsp. self-rising flour
5 oz. Cool Whip

Drain and save juice from pineapple. Dissolve Jell-O in 1 1/2 cups boiling water. Add 2 cups cold water. Add drained pineapple, marshmallows and chopped bananas. Chill until set.

TOPPING:

Add enough water to pineapple juice to make 1 cup. Cook egg, butter, sugar, flour and juice until thick. Cool completely. Add Cool Whip to mixture and spread over Jell-O.
