POPPY-SEED DRESSING 
3/4 c. sugar
1 tsp. dry mustard
1 tsp. salt
1/3 c. cider vinegar
1 tbsp. onion juice (I grate onion)
1 c. salad oil
1 1/2 tbsp. poppy seed

In medium bowl, combine sugar, mustard, salt, vinegar, and onion juice. Using portable electric mixer, gradually beat in oil until mixture is thick and smooth. Stir in poppy seed. Store, covered, in refrigerator. Mix well before serving. Makes 1 2/3 cups.

Can be used for toss salad or fruit salad.
