POT OF LUCK MAIN DISH SOUP 
1 lb. chopped meat
1 egg
Bread crumbs
Chopped onion
Salt & pepper
Oil
2 cans beef broth
2 cans water
1 c. thinly sliced carrots
1 1/2 c. wide noodles, uncooked
1 sm. bay leaf

Mix thoroughly the first 5 ingredients. Shape into 24 meatballs. Cook in fry pan in oil. Add them plus all other ingredients to large pot. Bring to boil. Reduce heat. Simmer 10 minutes. Remove bay leaf.
