CORN CHOWDER 
4 slices bacon
1 c. chopped onions
1 med. potato, pared and diced
1 stalk celery, finely diced
1 (13 1/2 oz.) can chicken broth
1/2 tsp. thyme
Dash of pepper
1 (17 oz.) can cream style sweet corn
1 c. milk

Fry bacon until crispy. In 3 quart saucepan add bacon, chopped up, onion, potato, celery, chicken broth, thyme, pepper and cream corn. Cover and simmer 15-20 minutes. Add milk, mix well and heat until hot.
