SOUTHERN PECAN PIE 
3 eggs
2/3 c. sugar
1 c. dark corn syrup (not pancake syrup)
1/3 c. melted butter
1 c. chopped pecan halves
1 level tbsp. self rising flour

Beat eggs with sugar and dash of salt. Add corn syrup and melted butter. Stir flour in until dissolved. Add pecans. Pour into pie shell. Bake at 350 degrees until knife inserted in center comes out clean. Cool.
