TOPPING FOR BAKED APPLES 
1 box instant vanilla or butterscotch pudding
1/2 c. brown sugar
2 tsp. cinnamon
butter
4-6 baking apples

Fill a baking dish with apple halves or slices. Mix the instant pudding and brown sugar together with enough water to make a syrupy consistency (about 1 1/2 cups). Pour over the apples and dot with butter. Bake at 350 degrees for about 1 hour or until apples are done. Serve hot, also good served cool.
