PECAN PUFFS 
2 cubes butter (1 c.)
4 tbsp. granulated sugar
2 tsp. vanilla
2 c. pecans, ground
2 c. pre-sifted flour or cake flour
Powdered sugar (approximately 1 c.)

Preheat oven to 300 degrees. Beat butter until soft. Add sugar; blend until creamy. Add vanilla, flour, and pecans. Mix well. Dough may be loose. Roll into small balls and bake on ungreased cookie sheets. Bake 40 minutes or until light brown. Roll hot cookies in powdered sugar; let cool. Makes approximately 2 dozen.
