PECAN PUFFS 
1/2 c. butter
1 tsp. vanilla
1 c. flour, sifted
2 tbsp. sugar
1 c. pecan meats, chopped
Confectioners' sugar

Preheat oven to 300 degrees.

Beat butter until soft. Add and blend until creamy--sugar, vanilla and chopped pecan meats. Sift twice before measuring flour. Sift pecans and flour into butter mixture. Roll dough into small balls. Place balls on a greased cookie sheet. Bake for about 30 minutes. Roll while hot in confectioners' sugar. Yield: about 40 (1 1/2 inch) balls.
