DUTCH MEATBALLS 
1 lb. ground chuck
1 lb. lean ground pork
2 1/2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. nutmeg
1/2 tsp. light pepper
1/4 c. milk (may add more)
1 egg
8-10 slices old white bread
1-2 cans cream of mushroom soup

Can also use 1/3 pork, 1/3 turkey and 1/3 beef.

Mix together. Use approximately 1/4-1/2 cup measure for size of meat ball. Fry in hot butter until brown. Then simmer about 10 minutes. Add a little water. Close pan. Simmer 10 more minutes. Add cream or mushroom soup with final simmering.
